Those chick pics are so cute. Even the 2 rescued ones! I don't know enough except to take out any that hatch after they dry.
I have serious reservations that anything in the hova bator will hatch. Just finally pulled out 5 of the 12 bantam eggs, 4 had broken yolks and the 5th just didn't do anything, guess it was infertile. Nothing grew in the broken yolk ones either. So guess that was postal damage.
On my Welsummers, last I heard she had 12 left in the bator with jagged looking airsacs out of the 32 she started with for me. So 20 were duds. That is an awfully lot!
I guess my hatches will be 'going off' next week. So we will just wait and see!
