All my chickens are about 12 weeks old currently. There is only one rooster in this bunch. A Welsummer Rooster. He is my third Welsummer Rooster.

I have a laying flock of 18 birds. These include 13 red sex links, 4 Wyandottes/two silver laced and one blue laced red, and one white Ameracauna. Then I have a show coop which has my three white crested blacks. Now, yesterday I went to a show and bought two serama’s yesterday!

How do you keep the grass growing in the coop? Mine is bare sand and dirt.. beautiful birds by the way!
