Anyone watch that show, Hoarding: Buried Alive??

Yeah..My foster son used to hoard food... poor kid.

My youngest step DD did that for a long time! Usually bologna...

Grandma hoards everything from foam take out plates to gallon milk jugs, dishes, dolls, LOTS of toys...kinda weird, but it's because they didn't have those things.

Its sad! My ex husbands grandpa buried $20,000 in cash in his backyard! After he died, his kids tore out the walls, and dug up the backyard!

My grandmother buys tons of stuff just because it's on sale too. She loves the .99 stores. "It was only ninty-nine cents!" Did she REALLY need 20 boxes of baking soda??

Definitely the depression that got to her.

Sometimes I worry that this Great Recession is starting to mess with me too.... sometimes we're tight on food, so I'm finding myself planning on stockpiling food... canning large amounts. I hope I don't end up like that! I absoultly see and understand how and why it happens. It really sucks going hungry! This is a whole different reality I'm living in as opposed to just a few years ago.

The show Addicted is on next..thats another bunch of sad people.

Reading All This Just Brought Back Childhood Memories. My Great Gram Would Stash Money Everywhere She Loved To Hide It In Ceilings And In The Floors And She Would Bury Metal Food Trays From Dinners In The Back Yard I Remember Millions Of Those Stupid Things . And My Greedy Mother When She Died I Remember The Only Thing That Concerned Her Was Ripping The House Apart Looking For Cash.

Yeah, that's how it was when my ex husbands grandpa died! I thought people only acted like that on TV! I made a comment that the toilet was still attached to the floor, and got lots of dirty looks... but I didn't care, and still don't! Its shameful!
