Ahhhh, a Doc.
Have to kid you a bit. My DH is a retired Eye Doc and I tease him about being the 'boss' We actually worked together the last 7 years before we retired. I loved it. I was office nurse, office manager, optician, Jack of all trades and master of some of them but not all.
I would LOVE to learn Cherokee. The only word I know is wa da du ga which I think means dragonfly. I got to spend spring break during my training on a Navaho reservation. They wanted us to come work for them after we graduate. One of my regrets is not doing it, at least for a while.
As for math, I was taking a math course for nurses and the instructor was trying and failing at explaining a formula to us. She asked us what we would do if we had to find the solution and couldn't. I raised my hand and said "call the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist. That's their job!'
Needles to say, the instructor wasn't impressed. Yeah, there is one like me in every crowd, LOL She finally gave up on us.
So Cherokee lineage is traced through mothers, isn't it?
