Anyone with hatch date Oct 15-25?!? Check out this thread!

Ok, i think i have a second pip. however, if it is a pip, it's no bigger than the period at the end of this sensence. Is this possible? And, it's on the fat end of the egg, not in the middle like the other pip.

Well I thought I would join your thread.
I am in lockdown as of this morning.

I can not wait till I see some activity.
This is my second set, so have learned a lot and hope I have a good hatch.
It is a mixed lot, 3 speckled sussex, 5 wellsummer, 3 Cochin bantam, 2 Golden Sebright bantam.

We have 6 pips so far ! Well, that's what we can see with 33 eggs in there it's kind of crowded. Still plenty of chirping and rocking eggs..

GUYS!!!!! GREAT NEWS!!!!!
I was walking in the kkitcken when i heard a very loud and irritated "Peep!". I walked over to the incubator, looked at the egg that had pipped, and it suddenly jolted, and then: "CRACK!!!!" I got there just in time to make it's second break at the shell! It was a big chunk too!!! Now it wont stop jiggling!!!!

I think I may cry... just put my eggs on lockdown. I only had four fertilized eggs out of a dozen. I had to throw one out today upon lockdown because the chick stopped growing. When I opened that egg, I saw a blood ring and a chick that looked to be about a week of age. So sad :-( I candled the other three and only one looks to be right on target. The other two have a small area at the pointed part of the egg that seemed to be clear. Is this okay? Or does this mean they are late quitters?

Just got home from church and we had 5 more Silver Phoenix chicks hatch while we were gone.
Edited: Make that 4 Silver Phoenix and 1 Black Sumatra chick instead.
