Anyone with seizure experience in babies

Actually she was, the first one happened on a Tuesday and ahe had her one year check up the Friday before. So 4 days prior. I'll have to ask it there could be some relation. Thanks!

Here's an update: We went had the EEG done last Thursday. Of course you do not get immediate results, that had to wait until yesterday. We returned to the neuro yesterday and he said the results were completely normal. My DH went yesterday and this Dr. acted completely different than the last time when it was me and my MIL!!! The difference in attitude was astounding! I figure it probably had to do with a male being there. He doesn't want to run anymore tests unless they become necessary. They sedate babies for CAT scans and it is very dangerous. She could accidently die due to the drugs they use. So unfortunately at this time I have to agree with no more tests. I really don't want to risk my baby girl's life. We are to keep a watch and if she ever has a seizure that doesn't come after a vagal episode we are to let him know and he'll immediately schedule the CAT scan. We also have a follow up appt. in a few months to see how everything has gone. Hopefully she will outgrow this soon but it could go on until she is 5 or 6 years old.

A very small percentage of children with vaso vagal syndrome do not outgrow it and do continue to have episodes as adults but we'll have our fingers crossed that she isn't in that small percentage.

a large percentage of ct scans come back normal in kids with seizures, my sons did. He is 6 1/2 and has not had a seizure it at least a year and a half. I think he's out grown it, I hope. Glad to see you finally got some attention from the Dr.

I know that a dog is not comparable to a child, but my Lhasa Apso started having seizures after vaccinations. I believe there is a possibility that it was what caused his hydrocephalus and resulting seizures. I think human doctors and vets are reluctant to admit the possibilities because they think that the risks of not vaccinating outweigh the risks of side effects in a few individuals. However, it really stinks for the few individuals that get the side effects.

MY daughter also started seizuring after having immunizations. The thing is that the immunizations don't give the children the seizures they just trigger them. The child has to have the predisposition for seizures.
