Our Mixed Flock Journey!

We've had such a busy weekend and accomplished so much. Daughter and sil came down to help us in the yard. We are so blessed.

Finally strung more fishing line and added reflective tape. I hope it keeps the Hawks out.

The girls were so excited to be back in their free range pen.

I used the little battery powered rototiller that my fil gave to us and worked up the soil in the enclosed pen.

So far the girls seem to be undisturbed by any predators. Hopefully it stays that way.

They did enjoy it. The funny thing is, I've given them clippings before. But, that was last year and if I remember correctly it was the same reaction and result...Lol
