This is a mechanical pencil drawings I did. Once I was finished, I cut out the background with an exacto knife . Then laid it over green handmade paper, secured it and then framed it.

It's not as hard as you'd think. You use a scrap paper to hold it with your hand so not that much smudging happens. It's quite large, so fairly easy to cut out.
