The secret about eyes, always leave a white spot. It brings them to life.

Yep. I once had someone who didn't believe me that the white spot is the key.... I drew a horse w/o the white eye spot, and then put one in. She was shocked at the difference!

What I've learned with teeth, you don't have to put in every line between them. Use soft shadows to separate each tooth.

but teeth are soooooo hard especially on 1" sized faces
