Anyway this easter egger is a pullet?

I'm back with more pictures. I was told that all 3 of my chickens are cockerels. I'm so upset right now and have no idea what to do with them. I've called so many places and can't find anyone who will take them on. I'm posting pics of the 3rd one to see your thoughts.
The first one is a pullet.

Where did you hear that one was a cockerel?

I've found the best way to re-home or sell cockerels is on Craigslist. I hear that Facebook is also sometimes a good place.

I'm sorry that you can't keep them. In the future, it would be best to buy sexed pullets. That way this doesn't happen again. If you ever decide to buy older chicks or birds (6+weeks) from a private seller, please post pics here first and we can sex them for you. That way you don't accidentally get cockerels again.

The person who is asking me to pay them $30 a piece to take my roosters. It made me suspicious so I wanted to ask here.

Iam a new chicken mom and thought I was being responsible by buying 3 female chicks from an online hatchery. I obviously was mistaken and did not realize how bad their actual sexing was.

I live in a city where roosters are not allowed. I wouldn't be looking to rehome otherwise. I truly feel awful and duped and have learned a valuable lesson. In the future I will not get chicks but instead older 100% females

What on earth. They want YOU to pay THEM? That's crazy.

What hatchery did you order from?

Most big hatcheries a pretty good with sexing the chicks they sell. Accidents of course happen, but not too often.

Yes they want $30 for the rooster. We r trying to find another option. I wouldn't be so desperate but the white one is crowing so loud every morning and I know pissing off my neighbors. We r going to move them inside at night and back out in the morning until we find some place to rehome.

I used Meyer Hatchery. They have also been terrible to work with to try and find a solution. They told me I had to wait til at least 12 weeks to even consider refunding. By then I will have been turned in by neighbors I'm sure.

Oh my. I actually believe someone else recently received an accidental cockerel from them. Most hatcheries are the same with their replies about accidental cockerels. "Wait 12 weeks".

Goodness. Well good luck in finding them a home. I personally would try CL. Someone nearby could have a bachelor flock for them to join. You never know until you reach out. Hopefully until then your neighbors will be forgiving.
