Max: you nervous or something? *he had seen arlo leaving with the other handlers and was wondering why his handler wasn't calling him to go with.*
"No- No it's just crazy to be in a place with other people... I haven't seen another dog since I was a very young puppy."
Max: really? Strays live all over, so thats kinda surprising.
"I lived in my house. Safe from the zombies. With my Piano. And my treadmill." Letha said firmly.
*max had never seen any of those things, so naturally he didn't know what they were.*
Letha saw his confused look. "Oh no, you don't have treadmills here? Or.... Pianos?" Obvously the piano part wasn't much of a loss but still...

"How am I going to run? With a treadmill, you press a few buttons and then you can run, as fast as you like! It's a beautiful feeling..." She trailed off.
