Solved Video Playback(Youtube) Problem with FIX!

If a video doesn't play for you here on BYC tell the uploader of the video to follow these steps to "fix" the video! WE FOUND A FIX!


Error for playing the video with BROWSERs:

Android 8.1.0 works when using Chrome 67.0.3396.87
Android 7.1.1 does NOT work Chrome 67.0.3396.68
Android 7.0.0 does not work Chrome 66.0.3359.158
Android 6.0.1 does not work Chrome 66.0.3359.158
Chrome 67.0.3396.87 does not work on Android 7.1.1

Android APP does not work to play back these videos.

Apple App does work to play the video.

The whole App does not work with iOS 11.3
Keyboard issues with the Apple app are on: ??


This thread is about the video playing back error only.
There are other problems to be discussed in a new thread.



App is not allowing Youtube videos to play. (This just started yesterday) OR allowing one to copy a link. (Like copy a link to an article to share it -this has been going on for a while) The link issue is separate from the video issue.
The App is not allowing ANDROID app users to play back a Youtube video.
Apple App users can view it.

Does not work on app or browser on this:

Keyboard problem with iPhones.

HTML5 video problem with Android. Some are also reporting it on browser but I suspect they have a plug-in problem unrelated to the app, as well as a coding error in the android version of the app..

I got the app for about half a day haha. It kept doing this thing where it would constantly refresh the page or something, making the keyboard disappear mid sentence.

I’m not sure there’s enough people using it to warrant a proper update.. hopefully I’m wrong.

Lolol the thing that frustrates me the most is I have to click on a threat AT LEAST 3 times before it actually takes me to it

Hey I said I hope I’m wrong!

I got it from the App Store on my iPhone 6s, “version 1.2” according to the App Store.. I know you have an Android, not sure how that compares.

I’m not a huge app person anyway. Safari is my first love
