I saw one of my Appenzellers looking sorry for herself yesterday and watched her but she seemed to pick up in the day
I thought maybe she is cold -10C at night but today she was limping
On looking at her foot the rear toe and the pad looked slightly enlarged to the other one
I cleaned it up ,put some antibiotic cream on and put in a cage with some anti biotic in the water
not sure what else to do any ideas please
What could it be
all her room mates are fine
Dont want to lose her as they are rare here in Bulgaria

Could be she got it stuck some place, pulled it free and now has a small injury. Or maybe a splinter in the toe. I hope it is not a frostbitten toe.

I would keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse - post a picture.

I hope she is walking fine tomorrow.

Hi
Thanks for the replies
I have checked the foot for bumblefoot and i see no problems there (as per pictures on Google)
She is drinking the anti-biotic but tomorrow i will take her to the vet
Just to find out
Thanks Chris
