So I looked up the side effects of ACV.Not much came up because it is very beneficial and the negative sides to it are very minimal or so we think.Apple Cider Vinegar is fermented juice from crushed apples.And this link will clearly state that citrus acidity in ACV can vary greatly from 0% to about 18.5% and acetic acid 0% to about 10.5%.Thats a lot of variation.And there is no law that states how much actual apple cider vinegar has to be in a product and some products may not even contain any ACV.So you could just be giving your flock a lot of citric acid and acetic acid and very little to none of actual ACV.

If there can be that much citrus acid and or acetic acid in ACV there has to be some side effects.Oh and look there is and they just happen to be extremely alike to the symptoms your flock is experiencing.

Although I researched acetic acid as well I coundnt find as many clear findings as citrus acid it seems acetic acid isn't commonly delt with except in pharmaceutical drugs to cure ear infections and other things.
