I just bought a bottle of Braggs ACV in the organic section of our local grocery store. I'm going to add some to their water tomorrow.

My girls have been enjoying this for about 1 month. They seem to enjoy it and I've noticed the water jug is cleaner!

Huh.... I am new to chickens this year... And didn't know about ACV. I feed my girls apples though... BUT, think I will start the ACV too, since winter is coming and they'll be in the coop alot more than they are now.

A friend of mine has been using it for years in his horses water to keep flies down. I think it works. He had 4 horses at the time I was there last and I don't remember more than 1 or 2 flies in the area.

There are people who feel ACV is good for almost everything and I think it is safe to say that it won't hurt you. My mom used to drink 2 tablespoons ACV with a tablespoon honey in a glass of water daily. Oldfashioned remedy it may be, but researchers are finding many natural old fashioned remedies have a basis in fact.
I find it tastes refreshing when I am ill.
