Apple cider vinegar or vitamin water?

Can I give my day old baby peeps apple cider vinegar or vitamin water would it be good for them or even my laying birds if so on the vitamin water what kind or is there a ratio to water - vinegar or vitamin water

I start day old chicks on unpasteurized apple cider vinegar as soon as I can. I put a teaspoon per quart others may use more or less. I have found it seems to protect them from pasty butt. I don't use vitamin water so can't comment on that.
