Does it matter what kind of ACV is used with chickens & ducks? I was told to put it in my duckling water & did without hesitation, not even realizing there are different types of ACV. I’ve read a little on the subject but want a clear yes or no! I bought the organic raw unfiltered Apple cider vinegar while shopping tonight. So does it matter? Will the regular Apple cider vinegar harm my animals because that’s what I’ve been using! Please let me know! Thank you!

I don't think either will hurt them...but the ABV unfiltered with the "mother" likely has more "good stuff" for your flock in it. That's what I just put in my waterers today when I cleaned and refilled them.

You want to use the one with the mother in it. Organic raw unfiltered is a really good one especially with the mother! I use 1 tbs per gallon of water

the brand I buy is the one with the mother, I do one week on one week off. Make sure you have a separate plain water source, in case they want just plain water. Also don’t use a metal dish, ACV will eat through it.

They will be fine. I've used both regular and unfiltered, but always organic. I think it is more about the pH of the vinegar being good for them but it seems more people choose the unfiltered product over regular for the "mother". I use 2 tbs/ gal 1-2 days per week.

The whole idea of using ACV (Active Cider Vinegar) is the probiotic aspect,
so definitely the one with the 'mother'.
Tho the cons outweigh the pros in my, and many others, opinions.
