I was wondering if it has to be organic?? I see many post the word organic when using ACV and wondered if the regular non organic is fine or not good

thanks

You want it as natural and organic as you can find. Of course the kind with the "mother" in it, like Braggs, has the most benefits. But others will still be beneficial, just not as much. I use White House ACV; it's as good as I can find around here.

I get my ACV from Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Its says Organic, Unfiltered......You have to shake it to mix the "mother" before measuring. All my chickens love it. You can even use it yourself!

as long as it says
apple cider vinegar it is okay

what is not good is
plain white or brown chemical vinegar
the words have to be apple cider vinegar as it is made
with the "mother" and comes from the vinegar working with the "mother"

any questions email me

I have a gallon here that I was using to get cat pee odor out of things... (works wonders BTW), its just regular ACV. its not a name brand or anything.. will it be ok to use? or do I need to go out and get a better brand?

It is a probiotic, and it helps control algae in the waterer. Generic ACV that does not have a mother won't hurt but does not provide the benefits. It does control algae, though.

There are supposed to be lots of health benefits, for people as well as chickens, so I imagine for ducks, too.
