Apple cider vinegar ?

I've heard people say that you should put apple cider vinegar or sugar in your chick's water and I was wondering what it's for?

From what I have read YES to the ACV but make sure the label says "with the "mother"" so make sure your chicks get all the health benefits but NO to the sugar. I've read the sugar will just cause diarrhea

You can buy the vinegar at Walmart along side the normal vinegar, it's just a bit more expensive. My chicks love it, I think they are going through their water twice as fast now lol

I agree with Sobba. Our Walmart just carries ordinary ACV.

Type in "ACV" or spell it out into the BYC search bar and you can do tons of research into the benefits. Lots of folks are big believers in it!
