Apple on a string....

Got this idea from the poultry show. Was hilarious watching the chooks trying to figure it out. The only ones who mastered it by this afternoon
anyway were the peacocks...and then they wouldn't let anyone else have a turn! Fun entertainment for them, and us, on a very cool afternoon
when they chose the barn over being outside...

i tried the apple and they basically ignored it. did the same with a small cabbage and they we on it like velociraptors!

UUmmmm I dont want to sound tooo blond but how do you get the apple/cabbage on a string??

i got a treat ball this weekend and my daughter filled it with lettuce since we didn't have any cabbage and they loved it

Mine love the hanging cabbage. I'll have to try an apple, never done that before.

mine will eat anything I hang on a string.. I will have to try the apples.....keeps them busy all day long!!

I did this durring apple picking season. The girls had a blast!
