Apple pie filling for frezzing...

Can anyone help me out I would love to make some apple pie filling..I have alot of apple sauce if I can use it.

I do have 6lbs of apples anyone?

All I do for apple pie filling is peel and slice apples (I do them thinner than most people) add a little sugar and cinnamon and call it good. I freeze enough for the amt of one pie into ziplocs and use in the middle of winter when the store apples aren't so good. They taste just as good as fresh autumn picked apples.

I use a combination of flavors of apples. We have tons of wonderful apples grown locally (and in our yard).

I think my ball canning book has a recipe for apple pie filling to can. If you want me to look it up, just LMK.
