There is someone on CL from the 'dreaded' Papillion looking to rehome coop and chickens in someone's backyard. He/she would maintain the upkeep, cost. I don't know anyone. Anyone else?

You're pretty close to where I live too.........60th and I-80 area.....Hi,
I'm a fellow Omahan (?)...so yeah, Health Inspector came out and told me that I was good and I need simply send in the paper work and I'm good. I called to ask some questions as my neighbors (Aksarben Villa/60th & Center area) are quite close; our houses are less than 20' apart and the inspector asked if he could just stop by today so I said yeah and he came by and cleared me. Told me send in papers and we're good, even brought the paperwork with him for me. Also , fortunately he didn't seem to care whether neighbors liked it or not. Even said he liked me setup, I'm converting an old green house to a run and attaching an outer coop, all of which are anchored to a frame anchored to the ground. He was very pleasant for an inspector. After paying the d@*n cable bill (went up AGAIN) I needed a plus today.
Take Care,
J
I should update too......my hubby build a rather large run to replace my smaller one and now I have 12 hens.....I started with 4......I came across this thread and realized I need to update. Now have 6 hefty gals, 4 Barred Rocks and 2 Lt Brahmas. Has been nothing but a positive experience. When I filled out the permit info to send to Health Dept I was undecided on how many chickens I wanted, so wrote down 6-8 and the permit came listing "6-8" chickens. Made me laugh.![]()
