In the Brooder
Hey everyone! To celebrate Apricots one month anniversary (roughly) of being with me, I've decided to write her story down, i chronological order. Enjoy!~
Apricot was first found be me, abandoned in a park, looking dirty and scared. I picked her up and took her home, washed her and fed her, and she became calmer. We took her to the vet, and we found out she had scaly leg mites, and she was very underweight, so we took care of her. She stayed in my bathtub overnight, and the very next day I went out and got a coop, a perch, food, a feeder, a treatment for the leg mites, and straw. I set it all up in my yard for her, and placed her inside. She was right at home within a few days. She is now getting to a healthy weight, and I have found out recently that she enjoys yogurt. Although i am aware she may not be happy in a flock of one, but we will be getting her a friend in the next few months.
I love her, and she's like my child.
I hope you enjoyed this stupid thing i made at 3AM on a monday morning everyone!
Thanks for reading, Alex.
