Day 6 for me. Americana egg.

I murdered a welsummer egg this evening. It was horrible.

Looks like some eggs are progressing!!!!! WOOOOT!

I am going to candle mine again this weekend to see what kind of progress they have made.

So I found a heck of a deal on craigslist i just wanted to tell you about. I found 2 hovabators for $20 each! One is an older picture window 1583, and the other is a regular small windowed circulated air hova bator.

they were a little dirty, but he had the original shipping boxes for them and they both heated up just fine!!! They were shipped to him in march of 2000.

I am going to get them cleaned up tomorrow and try to stabilize them. Then I might keep one as a hatcher and sell the other after I get it all cleaned up!

I am having some issues with my temperature. It ranges from 97ish to 103.

It is warmer outside, but I was not having any issues keeping it about 99.5-100 consistently. I do not know what has changed.

eta: Sorry about the Welsummer egg Art.

This is one of my Americauna eggs on Day 6

I think I might be out......Temps were steady all evening up until 7:30am when I couldnt stay awake any longer to watch them Wone up at 2:30 in the afternoon and my temp was 103.5. It got warm today out of no where so I assume thats why. Hate this incubator. So I am pretty sure all my eggs are cook. It was likely at 103.5 for about 3 hours. What a shame.

Oh no!!! Will you play the waiting game or toss them? My heat has been hard to regulate for the past 24 hours, so I don't know what is going on.

I will wait before tossing them. I dont know how long eggs can stay at that temp before they are fried. Any suggestions?

I think if it were just a couple of hours in early stage of setting you might be ok. Keep trying to fix it, maybe something will work.
