What really sucks on my flock is that six of the girls are Leghorns. Aren't they suppose to start laying at like 14-16 weeks??

6/7 so far today, they average 5 or 6 most days and have had two 7/7 so far

Are they white or brown leghorns? They say that browns lay later. Mine are brown, and it was weeks 24-28 till all four began to lay.

Yes 3 girls = 4 eggs
2 are from the same girl (duh!) but they are both very thin shell. One was cracked.
I assume that's because she just started laying & her pipes are still trying to figure this whole butt nugget thing out?

Anyhoo I think I should win some kind of brownie points for the 2fer.

These girls are white leghorns. Combs, waddles (what little there is), and face have started to/or have turned red. They are just past 23 weeks old.

Combs and wattles in leghorns get quite big before laying. The comb will even flop over a little.
