April 2021 Hatch - A - Long

I believe one of my eggs has a crack in it. We're on Day 19 super excited it's a wait and see kinda thing right now.

Looks like our final total for hatch is six Silver Laced Barnevelder chicks. There are still six eggs in the incubator but a full day has passed since the last hatch and while I'm letting them stay a bit longer I'm not counting on any hatching. Our six are looking great though!

Yes! On this last day of april three chicks hatched. All safe under mama Pearl.

Mama Black , on the right , is still waiting for her first.

I currently have a pole going about shipped eggs & gestation of quitters. I would appreciate anyone’s votes that have hatched shipped chicken or duck eggs before

6 days later:

In the other nest nothing hatched. Just 3 chicks from 10 eggs. The mama’s both care for these chicks now.
This is fine for maintenance if I get at least one pullet. No chicken math this year.
