APRIL 26TH, TSC MILFORD NH CHICKEN SWAP:

Bantam or large fowl? Might or might not be able to help out with that problem

This is my Daughters main breed, they are bantam, she has more of these guys than anything else. If you are in no hurry she would have some adults closer to fall, they are from really great stock. She would have hatching eggs to spare too. Our bator is over full. But we wouldn't be able to make it

We've been wanting to make it to the swaps but we have two autos that are not too trustworthy right now to go that far.

i believe i have some of your pullets here, i bought 2 trios last fall maybe. and you are right they are beautiful, put them with my beautiful boy from ny and just starting to hatch, but i have to say, chicks are tough, they seem fine then dead, what is up with that??
here is my boy and your girls

i have some standard faverolle that should be hatching on wednesday, so they should be a couple of days old by sunday. when i candled them last week i had 11 out of 13 that had fully developed.

in a month i should have a few more to sell in both bantam and standards. i was able to get another 18+ eggs of bantam bs/s faverolle from a few other places, and 6+ of standard bs/s faverolle.

ChickMagnet, 5 out of 8 of the bantam frizzled polish developed. i'll keep you informed of how many hatch.

i'll be bringing some freshly made jams/jellies/marmalade. a lot of the fruits were grown last year in my father in law's backyard, or picked from local farms and i froze them for later when i had jars and cabinet space again. of couse i can't get locally grown citrus year round up here. i also have a few jellies that i can only buy the juice for since the plants are hard to find, buy or just too time consuming to get the juice from them-like currants and pomegrantes.

OK... I remember.. Cool, small world. Hmmm, not sure about the chicks. They are usually very hardy. She's hatched out two batches so far this year the first batch we almost didn't put in because they were cold almost froze and mud because the girls wanted to hide them and buried them in the dirt. Hatched 12 out of 14 and all chicks are doing great!!! Love the boy

like the girl in the front, she turned out nice... This is her favorite breed, she does showmanship with her older boy still. Got two new boys at the congress and all her girls are in breeding pens right now

Really do like your boys color and his leg feathering. Sarah's tend to be a little heavy with the leg feathers

The two new boys are pretty nice so they should help the girls with that. Hope to meet you sometime, we've only met via email....
