Keesmom, I have some Mille Fleurs in the incubator as well. so there will be a few at Milford.
I also have some White d'uccle and some standard ee eggs in the bator. And just for the heck of it I tossed in a few Black Giant eggs, the roo is a black Langshan.
We will see what hatches.

I'd like to go if I can. Hubby is leaving the next day on a week long work trip. I'll have some chicks- 8 week old Sultans, black cochin, sebright (golden pullet), mottled cochin and a trio of black rosecombs

In May I'll be getting some new day olds- silver sebrights, black frizzle, blue cochins, buff japanese and buff brahma, all are bantams. I'll have to see what swap is coming up at the end of may. Milford is a 2 hr drive for me.

I'd love to get some mille D'uccle pullets though!

I'm no good at this straight run thing. Seriously, I'm driving myself crazy. Every day it's 'Penny is a boy, no, maybe a pullet. But Lucky is DEFINATELY a cockeral, right? Um, maybe. Now Chica is too early to tell, but I'm leaning towards cockeral but maybe just because I'm pessimistic. Nah, she's friendly, must be a pullet.' AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
Why did I pick EE's to start with? They're almost 6 weeks old and I still have no idea. Seriously, the one that yesterday I just KNEW was a boy, today doesn't have his funky tail feathers so now I'm not so sure. They're probably all boys

So, that's what's going to help keep me from bringing home a ton of chicks. I must resist.....

Would any gardeners want some red wrigglers to start a worm bin (vermicomposting)? I suddenly have large populations in both my bins and need to start new ones.
