Lucky, mine usually hatch day 25 or 26 at the latest, they are in too big of a hurry to wait til day 28

Yeah, I haven't had any of mine hatch that early yet. They take between 27-28 days. Most hatch on day 28. I guess some guineas are just differant.

Oh The guinea eggs you got come from my pen of Royal Purple & lavender Mixed flock. & my other pen of White, Buff, & Pewter flock. Good luck. These eggs do pretty good in the mail.

Reese - The eggs came looking great, I think this is the first time I have ever gotten eggs crack free! Thanks so much for the great packing job and the eggs! I'm not sure I will be able to keep guineas due to neighbors nearby but they sure will be fun to hatch. I will probably keep them around for a while while they are little, until they are started at least, but what is the average price for guineas if I were to sell them?

Thanks Renegade, I did look around on craigslist but didn't find any guineas and don't know of any auctions around here. I will take your advice and sell them out of the brooder, maybe they just aren't readily available locally.

glad I saw this! the guinea I had hatch this past week hatched day 25!! thought I screwed up my count. husband n son went to move eggs from bator to hatcher and came running back to tell me there was a bunch of babies in the bator!
so the rest went in the hatcher & when they tried to move the ones that hatched there, omg!
my husband said they ended up chasing guinea all around the outside of the hatcher, they move so fast!
I would have loved to have seen that!

That sounds like the first time we hatched guiness we went to lift off the top to start getting them out. Well needless to say they all came at us at one time and we were running around the room trying to catch them. lol
