Will one ostrich egg count as 17 large eggs?

And will I get my ostrich egg cartons back? (they are sooo hard to find)

And is it okay if all my chickens are named "BOB"? (I have trouble remembering names)

I guess I'm out of this one.... my chickens don't have names.

pips&peeps :

Most States require that restaurants buy from a someone/business who has an egg handlers license.

There are specific requirements for handling, storing and washing eggs.

I imagine that the National part of this program has worked out all of these details. Surely no one would go into this 'blind' and start marketing without having all of this already handled.
It sounds like Nifty was just getting the word out now so they could ascertain interest from our group and then we will get more information.
I just told my girls to step it up and get laying.

Fell for it, too. I would feel better if I knew the single mom with the wondeful 16 year old was in on it?!?

There is no mom, or kid for that matter. It was part of the joke.

If this is not an April Fool's thing

, I would love to participate! Currently have 17 girls laying, we collect between 10-15 eggs a day. Will have 12 more starting to lay in September. All would meet the requirements noted.
