Our family is looking into getting in the future a genet, we really like them and we're also considering getting some Cavy's, not guinea pig cavies, but a Cavy.
Been doing the research on them for a year.
We are actively looking to adopt a couple of Sulcata Tortoises and will only adopt rather than buy one.

One thing I would like to add: Please, Please don't take in a baby wild animal from the wild because it is cute and then when it is to big to handle release it in the

woods. They will not survive!! They are not woods savy. something will eat it or it will starve OR it will go close to humans and be shot because it is

coming to close to humans and is a danger.

If you want a PET get a Dog or Get a Cat or Goat, Chicken, sheep, Horse, etc, etc, etc.

I think there should be more sections. Is there one for fish, crabs, etc? Or what about reptiles? And maybe, since this is a chicken forum, there could be a section entirely devoted to mixing other animals with your chickens. It could include stuff like whether or not they get along, if they pose a threat to each other, etc.
