April fool's jokes are infantile and pejorative. This one with it being a site alert drew the line. Not funny.

Just cause you hate fun doesn’t mean everyone else has to they make an April Fool’s post every year. It’s basically tradition at this point. I, for one, love seeing what they come up with. They’ve been doing it fifteen years now and still manage to be creative. I think it’s great. If you don’t, don’t read it then.

Not in my experience. It's also not usually something related to site security. I've lost some respect for the admins on this. The cafe thing was funny.

I'm here practically every day, year to year, so I've been to pretty much every April's Fool's joke so far. Some I haven't replied too. Well, 2018, to 2022(This years), to be more specific.

Why? Cause they made a light hearted joke about it? The staff work their butts off every single day and usually boot trolls immediately. They take security very seriously. Just cause they make a joke doesn’t mean they don’t

They do take security very seriously actually, they just picked it as a good April's Fool's joke theme this year. They had to make it feel realistic.
