1 duckling left... 3 out... believe one is fawn and white... one is probably chocolate... one white and the last one has its beak out of the shell... thought it was struggling so i widened the hole a bit... do not want to help it out totally so it is just resting... should be hatched sometime today...

will upload pictures today...

just worried about the grit situation... do not understand why they would not need grit if they are just eating chick crumb... but okie dokes...

all ducklings are out... sleeping under my brooder lamp... i refuse to keep them locked up in an incubator all claustrophobic...

sleeping atm... healthy... chirpy... funny little things but very cuddly...

woke up to a little yellow sticky one this morning... was like awww

One thing I thought of, please make sure if you are giving them chick starter, it is not medicated.. Ducklings will overdose on it because they eat much more than a chick does...

i know. only realised today. had a joke about calling one jesus...

distasteful sense of humour...

We've had ten hatch babies hatch out today with an Easter birthday. I'm betting that before day's end we have another 6 that are pipping now. This puts this hatch rate in the high 90's so far.
