Congrats on all the new chickies and ducklings...how exciting for Easter weekend. Our hatching date is the 12th...coming up soon. We did a candling yesterday and looks like the 10 Australorps are doing okay, 5 Americaunans with 1 questionable but of my 3 SLW`s it looks like only one is viable. Hubby wants to leave them in `just in case`

...he is such a wishful thinker. Getting exciting hearing about the hatchings and seeing the great photos. Thanks

Well here is the best picture I could get so far. I have seen 7 chicks & one that didn't make it out. There were 16 eggs, so hopefully she's got more under her still.

The rooster is the father of these ones.

ETA: Last nights Candling.....
very interesting.....
Eggs developing, but seem to be a different stages..... so I will lockdown on the 5th as scheduled removing the turner and replacing with egg cartons. Looks like it will be a very long hatching.
I will be setting new eggs in the LG Still Air as soon as the turner is available.
