Oooh, I meant to candle my eggs today. I will be candling them tomorrow.... and I like to take pictures, so I will share them if they are good shots.

Glad to hear that the yolk absorbed well, that's such a worry when seen. Good it's fine.
When I had geese in the 80's, I called them "baby geesers," when I read your post that question popped into my head & my fingers quickly followed. "Baby geese" is much sweeter.

Like everyone said, red is best. It's easier on their eyes & white light has been known to make them more aggitated, which can cause pecking. As I read other posts, I see that you had already seen the answer.
