Lost a chick from my April 10th hatch today.....
she was a light Brahma, and just didn't act right this morning. I gave her 1 drop polyViSo (non Iron)l in her beak......
this afternoon found her breathing funny and tonight she was gone.

Lockdown just started for me last night! Twenty-nine eggs, around twenty-eight or so of which were looking very good last I checked a few days ago.

Please send good hatching vibes this way. Of course, I will do the same for all of you!

Candling results:

6/12 Blue andalusians had detached aircell and no development. The other 6 are doing great so far.
2/11 Black Copper Marans were clear so I tossed but as far as I can see (hard to see through these) The other 9 have development going on. Cant see veins but there is an aircell and a black blob getting bigger.
1/5 of my mix eggs was clear so it got tossed and the other 4 are doing great(saw movement)
3/3 of my B/B ameraucanas are developing and have movement and veining



so I have
6/12 blue andalusian
9/11 BCM
4/5 Mix
3/3 Ameraucana
still doing good in the bator.

for me that I get at least 1 or 2 pullets a piece from my blue andy and BCM eggs.
