How do you tell which chick came from which egg?

I have 3 kids, each has decided to claim certain eggs in the bator. Great, put an initial on them, move along...

It's time for them to hatch. Anyone got a good idea or method to maybe "corral" them so we know Nickie's are over here and Karl's are over there?

I'm using a homemade bator that is a styrofoam cooler, it's not like I have alot of room to work with.

I have 34 Rhode Island Red eggs due to hatch on the 10th so we'll see what my percentage is

Two out of the 8 black/blues are out and nearly dry. I have 6 more blue/blacks left to go, and 1 buff! I've had to lock the bedroom door to keep myself away from the bator....

I'm a first time incubator user--just set up my brandy-new hovabator 1588 yesterday. I set 42 eggs today (mostly cochin bantams). Hopefully all goes well!!!

I just set 28 eggs today. Some Purebred EE's, and some Mutts.

I'm testing out the egg carton method, so we shall see if my hatch rate goes up or down.
