Crossing my fingers for your wiggly eggs!

Lol thanks i think i may be going a bit crazy, i keep thinking "Oh my god! Did i just hear a chick peep!" Then i realise it was a bird outside or the tv or my crazy imagination im sure many of ye have been there

That's exactly what it's like! It's SO hard to wait. You are probably being as patient as is humanly possible! When ours hatched last time it took 12 hours from first peep to hatching out though, so even when they peep, it can still be so hard to wait. Maybe when all the birdies go to sleep tonight, you'll know if it is the eggs.

All the birdys are asleep im afraid, i have literally been finding reasons to leave the house so i don't open the bator, i have been very good so far but if there is still no noise or external pips by the end of day 20 then il prob candle to check for internal pips, they are bantams so should be externally pipped by tomorrow, this is from my other bantam experiences

Day 20.

my two lonely eggs were wiggling like crazy on day 16 then the power cut for only an hour and no more wiggles, cant hear anything so guessing they haven't internally pipped and really have a bad feeling about them. I'll see how it goes, u never know i guess.

I am 9 and 2 pips, possibility of more pips getting slimmer. Congrats! So far, one blond chick and the rest mainly black. One just hatched 30 mins ago so you are not that far behind..... LOL

Tomorrow day 18 on my coturnix quail. no peeping or pipping yet. These are my first try on Quail. Wednesday got 3 Mallards and 1 goose due. Just set 9 button quail this morning. Anxious

I hope your quail do well and the others as well. I am thinking of getting quail eggs this summer and giving them a go.
