Uh Oh. Just walked into the room where the incubating eggs are and I SMELL something BAD. Do I simply pick up every egg and do the sniff test? That's ALOTTA eggs to sniff!

The bad egg might also be sort of oozing and sticky or shiney if that helps![]()
can anyone help with the question?6 days leaft for half my eggs and 1 week for the other half...so excited! also cant wait to be able to turn off the bator and put it away as its driving me insane with its whole not able to keep the them temp where it should be if the temperature in the house changes.
a question to those more experienced day 14 for half the eggs is 12:30am of the 11th and day 14 for the other half is the 12th at 9:30pm....i hatch button quail so on the 14th day i turn of the egg turner but i was wondering when i should do it? do i ununplug and remove the eggs from the turner when its time for the first half? or the second half of eggs time? or maybe somewhere in the middle?
I have heard that you can stop turning early with no problems with chickens and some say that stoping earlyer is better anyways, I have also heard that it is the 2nd week that turning is most important...can anyone help with the question?
