Sent you the # awhile back and you already posted it on post 121.  Meepitqueenie has received her package because she posted a picture of it. ;)   Life is busy, that's for sure.

Ok great. Thanx for letting me know.

My second swap I recieved with the frizzled and crele polish, cochin, OE, buckeye, and whatever else was in there looks to be developing beautifully!!! I candled the polish and the cochin, the OE, buckeye, and CM's were to dark to see anything yet but I would guess they are starting to develop too! THANKS!!!
OOOOOOH - Crele Polish - whoever sent them - Do you want to swap for duck eggs?

I got my third package yesterday. Treats for the birds, they will LOVE them. And a few chocolates for me

Thanks so much swap partner!

You're very welcome. I hope you all enjoy.

Got your box today plumcreek. Thank you for the beautiful eggs! The PO did a job on them! I just love it when the mail person hands you a box that is marked FRAGILE all over and the box is mashed and leaking wet goo!

Well, thankfully 16 eggs survived. They are washed off and resting right now. Going in the bator tomorrow. Thanks again!
I just saw this (a little late!) Ugh. Sorry they got so smashed. Maybe I tried to get too many in there?

I candled my mystery duck eggs and I have 11 out of 14 left. Two I left in there have veining but it's minimal while the other have good strong veining. The three I took out were clear, one has a previously unnoticed crack from being shipped and the other two were just clear. I didn't bother to crack them to see if they were fertile or not, was not to worried about it. Thanks for the mystery duckies!

I got my last swap box. Yay! I got strawberry plants (wonderful, because I bought a strawberry planter but not plants yet) and some really cute glow in the dark mushroom shaped lights that glow different colors. Camera is dead so I can't post pictures but these look really neat. They are a crystal technology. Now to just decide where to put them. Thanks, Walla Walla, WA!

My bator cooked my swap eggs! Along with 3 dozen of my Lav Orps and some chicks that had just hatched in the morning. Came home to find the thermostat went out on it and it was reading 122....eggs were HOT to the touch! Just sickening.
Now to find replacement thermostat for it...about 80 miles away and we got 4 inches of snow and still coming down. I have shipped eggs that came yesterday that I need to start, this spring is a CHALLENGE. It will get better, but what a set back!!!

I had the same thing happen yesterday. I lost all my crele polish, speckled sussex, bresse, and exchequer leghorns. All of the SS were developing and about half of the exchequer and crele. I'm in the process of rewiring to an electronic thermostat before my Rhodebar eggs come in.

That is such a bummer. I hope you get it up and running. You didn't have a broody or anything to put them eggs under? Maybe even a heat lamp in a styrofoam container. Just some way to keep them warm while you fix the incubator.
