Araucana + silverlaced Wyandote= ?

We purchased from Wilco as Auricana. The Rooster was given to us as one as well and matched the Araucana pictures online. But who really knows?

Araucana is one breed of chicken. They do not look like yours. Yours have muff/beard, Araucanas do not. Araucanas are supposed to have ear tufts instead, which look different. Araucanas are also supposed to have no tails. (That is, in the USA. Some other countries have chickens called "Araucanas" that are supposed to look different.)

Ameraucana is a different breed of chicken. They look somewhat like yours.

"Easter Eggers" is the general term for chickens that lay blue or green eggs but are not quite right to be Araucana, Ameraucana, or any other specific breed. They are fairly common, and are great chickens; and they are often mis-labeled when stores or hatcheries have them for sale.

So none of us doubt that your pullet was sold as an Araucana. We are just saying that the store mis-labeled her. :)

Rights and she’s never laid blue eggs. Her eggs are a light tannish pink.

This is one of my assumably French black marans. The egg in front was the Rooster’s egg.

As in, he fertilized it?
The big rooster did yes. One of our eggs from our hens. We only had 3 laying. The Maran was our neighbor’s egg. We had no more Easter egger eggs after our Easter eggers were attacked by coons a few years ago.
We have the silver laced Wyandotte, the one I though was an auricana which now I’m being told isn’t who both lay a pinkish egg and then a blue Cochin who lays white small eggs and had never been bred (because handsome is too lazy to catch her).
