How’d you find that out?

Last winter the lady I bought him from posted an ad selling Cholo's full brother and stated he was from Edd Sheppard's line.

So has Cholo mounted your layer hens?

Yes, he does mount them frequently. Sometimes it looks like they make vent to vent contact, other times his deposit lands on the ground.

I wonder if Edd Sheppard is active on any of the Facebook Araucana groups.

Honestly Cholo looks really good to have come from Edd Sheppard. I guess he decided to sell off his keepers and work with his culls instead.

Nope... NEVER!!! They have all been together for 2 1/2 years!

Correction... I've had Cholo 1 1/2 years, not 2.

Has Ann Horseman been breeding Araucana for long? She said her cockerel Slouch has come a long way. I wonder what her original stock looked like if Slouch is the best breeder she has at the moment.

I'm not sure about that. I think she's been at it awhile. I know she has some hens that are around 10 years old. I think Slouch is a good lookin' bird!

Oh I had no idea she was breeding Araucanas for that long. I thought maybe a year or two tops.
