Yes and yes. Some people prefer to breed clean faced w/ tufted b/c the tufted x tufted has a 25% fatal gene, the chicks die in the egg. In the US tail or partial tail is not optimum and is tried to be bred out, but yes it can and does pop out even in show lines.can araucanas ( i think they can but im not sure) be clean face and partially tailed?
