Is this an Araucana?

They're born with them if they inherit them...

One of my day old single tufteds... correction, double tufted, but unbalanced... :/

Draye, you still looking for them?

Well I kind of was still looking for them. But I was starting to wonder, he is about 7 months old give or take a little. It really doesn't matter to me if he gets them or not. He is breeding with 3 Naked Neck hens. Working on a project. I'm don't care if they even turn out rumpless or not. I'm working on a blue egg laying Naked Neck although my thread says green egg laying NN.

I have 45 eggs incubating right now. Due to hatch in the 17th of this month.

I remember your NN project, that's why I asked... :)

At what age do Araucana's develope the ear tufts?

I've found that IF an aracauna is tufted it will be noticeable at about a week old, ameracaunas seem to be fluffy faced from the get go if they will have the tufts. Not all aracaunas are tufted. I have ameracaunas with full beards where as my aracaunas I only have one that's got tufts on both sides of her face and one that has a tuft on one side...All the others are clean faced.
