Araucana thread anyone?

Kestrel. Buff (I guess) and blue clean-faced rumpless cockerel. He has some faults and I'm trying to sell him, but his color is amazing! The awkward pose shows the blue in his wings.

And last, but not least, Oriole. Thanks for watching my show! Single-tufted, rumpless cockerel. Another mystery color, again I'm guessing he's ER based.

I LOVE this girl, she is beautiful! Have you considered she might be Splash though, instead of some form of White?

She is very pretty.

Thank you for sharing these pics! I love the lacing in the blues!
My pleasure Debi. They've been my obsession since they hatched! I agree; the lacing is striking. Wren, the brown red girl had single laced primaries in her juvie plumage (and she might still have them--hard to see) so I think there's a lot of patterning genetics going on in these birds!

I love her too, but ended up selling her to make space (she's still here awaiting pick-up)--it was a hard decision. I wonder too if she might be splash. I've never had a splash bird, so I don't know what their down looks like, but she was very white, white as a baby (with the dark speckles). Debi said she thought she was a recessive white. She's showing some faint cream on her breast these days, so I've been wondering about dominant white too although I guess one of the parents would have to show it.

Too bad you don't know what the markings on the egg was, that would let me know better what pen she came out of.
Is that possibly Lavender?
My Lavenders do not breed true. I get a lot of cream/straw color in them.

This is one of the chicks from him
