Araucana thread anyone?

if you have room do it. people say that from the older eggs hatch pullets. happened to me and some other friends. old eggs that probably had cockerels didn't hatch.
That’s because pullet embryos can withstand slightly colder temperatures than cockerel embryos.

@Trish1974 did you set eggs?
@Frazzemrat1 how do the eggs look under your broody?
I haven’t checked yet. Lol I was thinking about looking tonight. It’s been a week tomorrow. In other news, my breeder has changed her mind about giving up her chickens, which I totally get. They are her favorite and she’s regretting thinking about it. I still have the eggs!

Noooo! :(

I get it... I just hope I get good with these eggs. It looks like something is going on, but I didn’t have my candler down at the coop. Just my phone.
I used my phone flashlight to candle my eggs last summer. I saw the embryo moving around in the egg.
Your breeder friend, where did she acquire her original stock?

Well, I got my first Araucana egg today, but it's it's green! :hit
