Araucana thread anyone?

@Frazzemrat1 have you candled the eggs?

Nope. At this point, I'm not gonna. I either have chicks or I don't. Sigh. I guess I better come up with a plan if I don't, though. For the poor broody.

SIGH.. I guess I better. I had gotten myself comfortable with the idea of Schrodinger's chicks.

When are the eggs due to hatch?

Bonita is broody! Don't know if she will stick with it or not. I'm going to stick a handful of Mama's eggs under her Wednesday if she is still setting. She's young so its doubtful. For some reason Bluebell isn't laying. Hasn't laid since last Wednesday. Seems fine otherwise. :idunno

That’s awesome that Bonita is broody! :celebrate
Did you move Bluebell in with your layer flock?

Nope, not yet. I want to make sure at least some of her eggs with Buck hatch, and I'll probably try to get more chicks with her and Buck through the summer. They both have the most beautiful heads...I can't wait to see the babies they produce!
Tuesday evening will be Day 7 of incubation and I'll be candling. I'm nervous!
