Not as of yesterday afternoon. If I don't have anything by tomorrow, I'm going to have to remove eggs, candle and probably start discarding. Sigh.

I knew I was taking a chance on a first time Mom, who hadn't been a dedicated broody last summer. This time she's been quite dedicated. But, for instance, who knows exactly what happened with that barnie chick. Probably another chicken, but who knows.

I think I screwed up and put too many eggs under Bonita's tiny little body. I looked in on her yesterday and one was halfway sticking out under her, and this morning two were partially sticking out under her chest. I should have known better.

I had that problem too, and I'm dealing with a speckled Sussex. I'm like, flatten out more!!!
