I went out to candle Lil Girl's 4 eggs last night, to find there were only 3 . One apparently broke and she must have eaten most of it. One of the eggs has alot of dried yolk on it, the other two just a few spots. I don't know what to do. The chicks inside are alive and kicking. I tried to flake of the gunk but its dried to the shell. I've read you cannot not get them wet... so...

they might hatch.

Baby's second time out of the coop, and first time with Mama and Manolito. The chick found a feather and thought it was gold. Bonita, Mama and Mano are trying to figure out what he/she has, but baby isn't going to give them a chance!

Congratulations! How old are they?

3-4 weeks she said. I have the heat plate out, but they’ve been avoiding it. I may leave it out tonight, and see if they use it. If not, I will be taking it away.

Donald my mottled passed away this afternoon. That loss was really hard on me. I really thought he/she was going to make it. S/he was 2 weeks old today.
