Araucana thread anyone?

Have you named your Araucana chicks?

Don't laugh at me. I've decided that this group is going to have names from my favorite video game... Dragon Age Inquisition.
The cockerel is going to be Varric.
The buff looking from Ann's Rex line, is probably gonna be Sera if she stays a female, Cullen if male.
The Salmon, who's really dark, if female will be Cassandra, if male will be Iron Bull.

Not sure what I'm going to do with two cockerels, if that's what I get. I'm fairly certain that the Rex line one is a pullet. The dark colored salmon... she was either not what Ann was going for since she's dark, or she's a cockerel and true to color. We'll see as she feather's out.

You can make F1 Easter Eggers with the extra cockerel. But it’s always good to keep an Extra cockerel on hand.

Well, not sure. A GDW and a white... are they white dominant? silver? Genetics was never my strong point.

I think White Araucanas are recessive white, but I’m not 100% sure.

See, I'm not sure either, since her project cockerel, Rex... He's BBR over a white hen, and he's mostly white. And he's the father then, of Sera (hopefully). So, on her father's side she's BBRxW and her mother was a SDW.

That is odd. Personally Sera looks like she may be Salmon colored.

I agree completely!!!!! Which is why when I talk about what Ann said they were I have to go back to her messages to remember the mixes. I guess we'll get a better idea as they feather out... but Idk.

extra roos are a must. 2 of my friends lost their roos at the beginning of the breeding season and could not find another one. many eggs were wasted.

@Frazzemrat1 I believe that the top bird is your Salmon Araucana pullet, middle bird is your Gold Duckwing Araucana cockerel, & the bottom bird is from Ann’s experimental pen.
